The primary focus of the Cabrini Crescent Cheerleaders is to be outstanding ambassadors of Cabrini High School by supporting all school activities and the athletic programs. The cheerleaders attend all home games for the Volleyball and Basketball teams. It is also mandatory for all cheerleaders to participate in all pep rallies, the Homecoming game, Open House, Discovery Day, Paint the Gym Pink, Christmas on the Bayou, Mardi Gras Parades, Friday Night Lights, Dance and Cheer Clinic, and any other school function where cheerleaders are needed to promote and represent Cabrini High School. The cheerleaders also participate in community events such as Save the Lake, Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, and any other community events that arise through the year.

The Cabrini Crescent Cheerleaders are also a competitive cheer team. The cheerleaders have been a nationally ranked team and have placed in the top 5 at every competition, locally, regionally, and nationally, in the last eight years. The cheerleaders practice year round in order to perform at the highest level. They practice a couple of days per week throughout the summer and participate in workouts that will prepare the girls for the rigorous routines they must perform to perfection throughout the year. The cheerleaders usually compete in three competitions during the year.

The Cabrini Crescent Cheerleaders are well respected around the school and in the community. The cheerleaders are coached by Mrs. Teena Costales. Our hopes are that the cheerleaders will strive to be the best in everything that they do.
