Welcome to Cabrini High School!

As a Catholic, college preparatory school, we strive to teach as Jesus did through the charism of St. Frances Cabrini and the Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart. We follow the model of education that at its core promotes Respect, Excellence, and Service.

The Missionary Sisters and Mother Cabrini arrived in New Orleans in 1892 to minister to the orphans of the city. That original mission evolved into Cabrini High School, founded in 1959, which educates girls from the entire metropolitan area. We work with our students to discover their God-given talents through our commitment to academic excellence, spiritual development, and social growth.

The strength of Cabrini High School lies in its Cabrinian family; tenured and recognized faculty, high expectations, evolving and challenging curriculum, diverse student body, proud and successful alumnae, and active and engaged parents. Throughout our website, you will find what it means to be a Cabrini Crescent. You will see the excitement on campus, our students’ successes, our academic programs, as well as athletic, spiritual, and extra-curricular programs. Our mid-sized population has enabled Cabrini High School to view all of its constituents as unique and allows us to know our students on a personal and individual basis. As Mother Cabrini once said, “Study well the personalities, the strengths of students, because one cannot presume they are all the same. Treat each one according to their capacity and the gifts they have received from God.”

We look forward to meeting you and sharing with you the educational experience that has made Cabrini High School an outstanding school for over 50 years!

In Christ’s Peace,
