Bring a friend and explore super science topics through engaging activities and experiments. From anatomy to forensics, chemistry to biology, science has never been more fun!

Super Science Saturday sessions are held at Cabrini High School (see dates and topics below) from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The cost to participate is $10 per session.

Cosmetic Chemistry
September 30, 9 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
Girls Grades 7 & 8
Analyze characteristics of toothpaste and/or shampoo and make your own bath and body care products such as soap, body scrub and dusting powder.

Anatomy Academy
October 14, 9 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
Girls Grades 4-6
Discover all there is to learn about bones! Ever wonder makes bones hard? Watch a video, learn a song, and draw or assemble a skeleton!

CSI Cabrini
November 11, 9 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
Girls grades 4-6
Participate in crime-solving activities such as fingerprinting, blood typing and DNA extraction.

Scientific Christmas
December 9, 9 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
Girls grades 4-6
Discover the science used inside Santa’s workshop. Explore the science of toys and make your own “goop” and ultraviolet radiation bracelets.

Science “Cell-A-Bration”
January 20, 9a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
Girls grades 4-6
Study cells! Learn about the parts of the cell and types of cells through diagrams, songs, models and the creation of cell soap models.

Solid Science
February 3, 9 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
Girls grades 4-6
Learn the science of solids, liquids and gases using materials and models. Create crystals, work with polymers, and do “magic” writing.

Spring Into Science
March 17, 9 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
Girls grades 4-6
Discover the science of springtime with activities involving plants, insects and solar power.
