Kyle Weidenbacher has been named head coach of the Cabrini High School track and field team for the 2020-2021 school year. Kyle will direct the indoor and outdoor track and field programs.
“I am extremely honored and excited to be named as Cabrini’s Head Track and Field Coach,” said Weidenbacher upon the announcement. “Cabrini has an outstanding tradition of excellence in track and field, and I look forward to meeting everyone on the team and working together to continue that tradition.”

In 2019, Kyle continued his educational journey by earning his Master of Education in Educational Leadership from the University of Holy Cross. Upon graduation from the UNO, Weidenbacher was hired by Archbishop Rummel High School as a full-time teacher and head track and field coach. “Track and field is an excellent sport that everyone is able to participate in with nineteen different events to choose from,” said Weidenbacher. “The camaraderie that is formed among the team is perhaps one of the most special things there is about track and field.”
