Co-Worker in the Vineyard and Cabrinian Educator Honors

Through the work of the Mission Integration Committee, two awards were established in 2015 for faculty and staff: the  Co-worker in the Vineyard Mission and Service award and the  Cabrinian Educator Award for Excellence in Teaching and Learning. Any member of the Cabrini community may nominate any faculty or staff member for these awards.

The Co-Worker in the Vineyard honor is awarded to teachers or staff members who have served at Cabrini for at least five years and who demonstrate support of the Academic Program, who manifest professionalism in their areas of responsibility, and who demand excellence of themselves and encourage excellence in their colleagues.

This year, two recipients have been chosen to receive this honor:  Mrs. Maria Bienes and Sr. Alice Zanon, MSC.
 

The Cabrinian Educator honor is awarded to a teacher or teachers who have served at Cabrini for at least 5 years, who embrace the vocation of educating the minds and hearts of our students, and who model our core values of respect, excellence, and service by exhibiting sound moral and professional behavior, by demonstrating a passion for his or her subject matter, and by working as an advocate for the entire Cabrini community.

Our 2017 recipient is:  Miss Michelle Fortier.
