Five teams of Cabrini students have been selected as finalists for the 2019 Trust Your Crazy Ideas Challenge, sponsored by Junior Achievement and the Brees Dream Foundation: Those teams are:
Victoria Duke, Julia Keller, Helen Melendez, and Alixx Williams, for their idea 24Solar.
Kelsey Juan, Kirsten Knobloch, Pierra Charles, and Synea Ferbos, for their idea Boomer Scouts.
Kennedi White and Fallon Brannon, for their idea Know It Vote It.
Katherine Heller and Breanna Guient, for their idea Kumbuka.
Ava Gatlin and Claire Sule, for their idea No-No Flask.
All of the students attended a press conference with Drew Brees on Tuesday, December 11 to formally announce and congratulate all of the finalists.
The teams have now been invited to compete against students from schools across the city and state for up to $15,000 in scholarship dollars and up to $7,500 in student activities funds for Cabrini High School.
Way to go Crescents! We are so proud of you! Also, thank you to Junior Achievement, Dress Brees, and The Brees Dream Foundation for allowing our students to dream big!
