Ask any Cabrini student or alumna what their favorite Cabrini event is, and they will likely say Intramurals! It's the most creative and spirited day of the school year!
Intramurals always takes place on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving break begins. Intrmaurals began on November 26 with a Thanksgiving prayer service, followed by the Faculty vs. Student volleyball game to kick off the start of Intramurals. Then, the real competition began.
Each grade, starting with the Pre-Freshmen and ending with the Seniors, took turns showcasing their dance, cheer, and skit to the Cabrini alumnae judges. The classes were also being judged on their costumes, murals, class participation, or pep squad, and attendance.
The senior class dominated this year’s event winning Best Skit, Pep Squad, Dance, Costumes, and Attendance, five of the six categories, with their Senior Circus theme. And the Sugar Rush Sophomores took home the Best Mural award. The 8th in the 80s, Frightening Freshmen, and Wild Wild West Juniors showed off their creativity and spirit through their performances, as well.
We are very proud of all of our Crescents on a job well done!
