The Cabrini High School Swim Team to Host
Largest Swim Meet for Cancer Awareness
What:
Cabrini High School’s Swim Team will host the annual Cancer Awareness Swim Meet, the largest non-championship swim meet for the New Orleans Metro League.
Schools from across the metropolitan New Orleans area will participate in this swim meet to assist in the cause of raising money to support cancer awareness and cancer patients in our area. Over 17 schools and about 300 swimmers compete in this meet each year.

Meet begins at 10:00 a.m.

How:
Raffle and auction items have been donated to help raise funds during the meet, in addition to a bake sale. There be three large items up for auction, including a signed Drew Brees framed print, a 24x24 Carreno abstract paint valued at $2,500, and two club tickets for the New Orleans Pelicans game on October 28 against the Golden State Warriors. In addition to the auction items, there will also be raffle prizes such as tickets to The National WWII Museum, two Sephora custom makeover certificates valued at $50 each, and numerous gift certificates to stores and restaurants in the New Orleans area. All proceeds and donations will be donated to the Tulane Cancer Center.
