Cabrini High School inducted 36 students into the National Honor Society (NHS) on Tuesday, February 19, 2019. Membership is by invitation only.
National Honor Society is the nation’s premier organization established to recognize outstanding high school students. Membership into NHS is based on the areas of scholarship, service, leadership, and character.
Students become eligible to apply for membership in NHS beginning in their second semester of their sophomore year. Students need a semester and cumulative average of a 3.5 (beginning with the class of 2022, the minimum GPA is 3.6) to apply. Once a member, the student must maintain the semester and cumulative average required for their selection.
Students must fill out an application where they identify their involvement in clubs, activities, leadership roles, service, and character. Applicants are then considered for selection by the Faculty Council.
National Honor Society members attend on the first Monday of every month.
