Anjoli Jasmin, an alumna of the Class of 1999, was recently named the Director of Crescent Cradle, Cabrini High School’s daycare.
“I feel so excited and blessed to be named the Director of Crescent Cradle,” said Jasmin upon the announcement. “Each and every child at Crescent Cradle is like my very own. So to continue to take care of them, but in a very different way, can only be positive for me.”
From coaching cabbage ball, to directing summer camps, as well as teaching Catechism, Jasmin has worked with children in some aspect for as long as she can remember. She was even a member of the original Crescent Cradle Club at Cabrini while she was a student.
After graduating from high school, Jasmin immediately began working part-time at Crescent Cradle. She took a break to attend Southeastern Louisiana University where she studied Early Childhood Education and graduated in 2005 with a degree in Applied Behavioral Sciences. Jasmin returned to Crescent Cradle full-time in 2013.
Congratulations, Anjoli! We cannot wait to see you continue to serve your “second home.”
Crescent Cradle is located on the beautiful campus of Cabrini High School, where they serve 38 children aging from six weeks to three years old. Crescent Cradle uses best early childhood practices as outlined by the National Association for the Education of Young Children. Crescent Cradle offers low child-teacher ratios so children can be provided the individual attention needed, professional early childhood teachers, nutritious morning snacks, lunch and afternoon snacks, foreign language for older classes once per week, and dedicated children’s chapel time twice per month.
