Cabrini High School inducted 20 students into Mu Alpha Theta, the national high school and two-year college Mathematics Honor Society.
Mu Alpha Theta is dedicated to inspiring keen interest in mathematics, developing strong scholarship in the subject, and promoting the enjoyment of mathematics in high school and two-year college students.
Mrs. Barbara Stott is the Mu Alpha Theta moderator.
During the induction ceremony, Tad Patella, a Planning Engineer for Entergy New Orleans was a guest speaker. He spoke about his time as a member of Mu Alpha Theta and how it positively impacted his life. He encouraged the students to always do and be their best.
