April 28, 2021The Cabrini Cheerleading Team and Eclipse Dance Team recently returned from Walt Disney World where they competed in the UCA and UDA Nationals Competition.
The Cabrini Cheerleaders finished in the top three in the nation and took home medals for both of their competition routines. They placed second in the nation and received silver medals in the Super Varsity Non-Tumbling Traditional Performance Division. They also placed third in the Super Varsity Non-Tumbling Game Day Division and received bronze medals. Over the past four years since competing at UCA Nationals, the Cabrini Cheerleading program just keeps climbing their way to the top of the mountain.
The Cabrini Eclipse Dance Team returned home with three new, beautiful trophies. They were 2021 UDA National Finalists in Small Varsity Game Day, Small Varsity Pom, and Small Varsity Hip Hop: Game Day (9th Place in the nation), Pom (21st Place in the nation), and Hip Hop (11th Place in the nation). This was the dance team’s first trip to UDA Nationals, and their future looks bright for next year.
