November 26, 2018The Cabrini Crescents Basketball team went 2 and 1 at the Ursuline Invitational Basketball Tournament.
The varsity Basketball team finished the tournament defeating East Jefferson 38 - 23. Senior Paige Luster scored 12 points and junior Karlie Schnauzer 10 points. In the second round after giving up the lead in the third quarter, the Crescents fought back to beat Destrehan 55- 48. Leading the team in scoring was senior Brionne Woods with 18 points and sophomore Hannah Weston with 17. The Crescents' only loss came in their opener against Salmen High School 44-47. The Crescent Basketball team outscored Salmen 16-8 in the fourth quarter only to come up short 3 points. The team was led by senior Brionne Woods with 26 points and sophomore Hannah Weston with 10 points.
Senior Brionne Woods was also named to the All Tournament team.
