Dear Cabrini Family,
Words cannot begin to express how blessed I feel about the outpouring of love and prayers that I felt from each one of you. Your commitment of your heartfelt prayers is one of the reasons that I am still here today. While I was in the ICU I held on to Mother Cabrini’s relic medal. I prayed to her to be the intercessor to heal me from the Coronavirus. She has never let me down. I want to give a special thanks to my wife, Liz, and all of my children. Also, thanks to Yvonne Hrapmann who prayed the virtual rosary, Sr. Renee, the Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart, all of the Cabrini institutions around the world and my beloved faculty, staff, and alumnae at Cabrini High School. I will always be indebted to each one of you.
During this unprecedented time in our lives, where there is so much suffering, I would like to leave you with a quote from St. Francis Xavier Cabrini.
“Fortify me with the grace of Your Holy Spirit and give Your peace to my soul that I may be free from all needless anxiety and worry. Help me to desire always that which is pleasing and acceptable to You so that Your will may be my will.”
Peace, Love, and Prayers,
Deacon Uriel
