On August 18, 2020, the Class of 2021 Hearts had their first full day of school. It was a milestone, but not the first milestone of their senior year.
During Back-to-School Day last week, the class participated in a modified Step-Up Day ceremony where they “stepped up” and officially became seniors. Due to COVID-19 and the cancellation of the end of the school year in the spring, Cabrini High School was not able to host a Step-Up Day ceremony until now. Due to the health and safety restriction of no more than 25 people in a room, the entire class was unable to step up together, rather each homeroom had their own celebration. After the students paraded across the stage into the senior section, they received their highly anticipated senior sweaters.
The Class of 2021’s senior year is looking as bright as their sweaters! Congratulations, Hearts!
