December 16, 2020It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at Cabrini! Student Council hosted the first ever Cabrini Christmas Challenge to get everyone in the holiday spirit.
Each grade level chose a theme to decorate their class Christmas tree and sign, they dressed in coordinating outfits, and made up a cheer!
The grade level themes were:
-Rudolph And All His 8th Graders
-Do You Want To Build A Freshman?
-2023’s The Nightmare Before Christmas
-The Who’s of ’22 – Merry Grinchmas
-Senior Ghost of Past, Present, And Future
-The Staff and Facul-Tree Presents “Sea”-sons Greetings!
The results from the competition are as follows:Best Chant/Cheer- The Seniors for their past/present/future song
It was a fun and festive time!
Best Sign- The Freshmen for their beautifully lettered and clever “Do you want to build a Freshman” sign
Best Costumes- The Pre-Freshmen beat out the rest by a nose….a red nose… with their reindeer, elves and red-nosed masks
Best Topper- The Juniors for their Grinchy Max and Sleigh bending the top of the tree like the book and movie
Best Ornaments- The Sophomores for their hauntingly beautiful hand painted Nightmare Before Christmas ornaments
Best Overall Presentation- The Seniors based on total number of points for each category
Honorable Mention- The Staff and Facul-Tree- for their “Sea”sons Greetings tree featuring handmade sea creatures that reflect their job at Cabrini High School.
