The #10 seeded Cabrini Soccer team will host an LHSAA Division III Bi-District State Playoff game Friday, February 1 at Pan American Stadium at 7:00 p.m. as they take on the #23 seeded Opelousas High School.
Cabrini students' artwork will be on display at Lakeside Shopping Center from Monday, January 28 until Friday, February 1 for the Catholic Schools Week Arts & Music Festival.
Eighteen Cabrini students and faculty members made the long trip to Washington, D.C. with nearly 500 other students from the Archdiocese of New Orleans to March for Life in hopes to overturn the Roe v. Wade ruling from 1973.
Cynthia Hogarty, a representative from the Fashion Institute of Design in California, visited Cabrini's Art II and AP Art classes on January 17, 2019. She discussed art portfolios with the AP students and different careers in art with the Art II students.
At the end of each semester students who have maintained a scholastic average of 4.0 or above will be placed on Cabrini's Principal's Honor Roll. Those students with a scholastic average of 3.5 to 3.9 will be placed on the Alpha Honor Roll. Those students with a scholastic average of 3.0 to 3.4 will be placed on the Beta Honor Roll. Students with a D or F in any subject will be excluded from the honor roll regardless of GPA.

Junior Victoria Duke received first place in the High School Poetry Division for the Keep Christ in Christmas Contest. This is an annual contest that is sponsored by the Council of Catholic School Cooperative Clubs (CCSCC) and the Clarion Herald.
