It is with extreme sadness to announce that former president of Cabrini High School, Ardley Hanemann, has passed away on the morning of May 31, 2019. Mr. Hanemann served Cabrini High School from 2004 – 2016. Please pray for Ardley, his family and all who mourn his death.
Each year Cabrini gathers to close the school year with the celebration of Step-Up Day where each class “steps up” to the next grade level. The Class of 2020 Doves officially became seniors after crossing the stage and parading down the middle stairs.
The Violets of 2019 celebrated their Baccalaureate Mass and Commencement Ceremony on Saturday, May 18 at St. Dominic Church. Together, they earned $11.3 million in scholarships and were accepted into 96 different colleges and universities throughout the United States.
The Class of 2019 celebrated their Senior Awards Luncheon prior to graduation on Friday, May 17 at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside Hotel. It was such a lovely event with so many people honored.
The junior and senior classes enjoyed dancing at "The Great Gala" Prom on May 10 at Magnolia Plantation. Following the prom, the seniors enjoyed the first ever Prom Fest held at Cabrini High School. Check out the pictures from both events.
Four elementary school teachers from Christian Brothers School, St. Leo the Great School, St. Edward the Confessor School, and St. Rosalie School were honored as Distinguished Educators by Cabrini High School students.
On April 29, student-athlete Brionne Woods '19 signed her Letter of Intent to continue her academic and athletic careers playing basketball for Talladega College in Talladega, Alabama.
April 30, 2019 was Senior Day at Cabrini High School. The Class of 2019 was honored at the Senior Showcase, viewed the Senior Slideshow, and counted down their final moments at Cabrini with the Senior Countdown.
