A message to my fellow sisters:
I miss seeing you guys so much! The feeling of not seeing everyone walking through the halls, at lunch, or anywhere else on campus is unreal.
Starting senior year last August we all expected that at this point we would all be together at school savoring our last days as seniors in high school and the traditions we would soon share with each other and our families. I know this is a complete 180 of how we expected our senior year to go and there are so many unknowns in this situation but I do know this: all 92 of us are strong and will weather this storm together and face everything that comes our way united as a class. I encourage all of you to find positives during this time and keep a positive mindset.
Although this is far from an ideal situation I think it has impacted us all and taught us a few things:
1) To truly enjoy the good times in our lives,
2) Do not take the little things for granted,
3) Keeping a good sense of faith is so important, and
4) To be appreciative of all the things we have in our lives.
No matter what, this virus can never and will never take the sisterhood, love, friendships, and memories we have shared together in the past five years we have been together as a class. I have complete faith that after this is over we will reunite, and it will be the best reunion anyone could ever ask for.
I hope you and your families stay healthy, safe, and strong during this time! This will be over before we know it. I cannot wait until I see all 92 of you again! Just remember, “When it rains, it pours but soon, the sun shines again. Stay positive. Better days are on their way” -Unknown.
Love,
Mea Morrell '20
Senior Class President
Class of 2020 Doves,
During these difficult times, we wanted to create a space for you all to feel connected, loved, appreciated, and important. Like Mea mentioned, this is not how we expected your senior year to go, but we are going to try and make the most of it.
This page will be a place for you to reflect on your time as a Cabrini Crescent. Please email Mrs. Katelyn at kehrhardt@cabrinihigh.com your thoughts, your feelings, stories you want to share, messages to your fellow Dove sisters, what you miss, a Cabrini memory that you will never forget, etc. Also, send her where you will be attending school in the fall, what your major is, and what you were involved in at Cabrini all 4-5 years. This page will constantly be updated like an ongoing journal entry for you to read messages from your sisters.
We love you!
Cabrini High School for the past 5 years of my life has been my second home. It has provided me with the most amazing education, atmosphere, teachers, faculty, staff, future, and most importantly the most amazing 92 girls that I get to call my sisters. I know this is not how none of us expected the end of our senior year to go but I know I am forever blessed and will cherish the memories that we have made together. I am so thankful for what God has given me already and I cannot wait to see what the future holds for us.
“God promises to make something good out of the storms that bring devastation to your life” -Romans 8:28
I hope you are all staying healthy and safe during these hard times. I am praying and miss each one of you.
Love,

When I entered Cabrini as an 8th grader, I never would have imagined that my next five years would possibly be some of the best years of my life. As a 13 year old, all I thought of high school was just another step of education, which it is, but Cabrini has given me so much more. It has shown me what sisterhood is. All 92 of my classmates are some of the best people I could have ever asked to spend my high school years with. They have shown me what’s it’s like to have friends that have your back no matter what, and I will always be thankful for that. No matter what it is, any of us could go to each other and we will always have each other’s backs.
Cabrini is such a special place to be. I knew when I first stepped foot on campus, that it’s where I wanted to be. Now as I think about taking my last steps on campus, I would not trade the last five years for the world!
I know that this is not the way we want to end our time here, but we will make up for it. The Class of 2020 will not be forgotten. This virus can not break our bond! Thank you to all 92 of my dove sisters and Cabrini for the best high school years a girl could ask for!
Love,
Brooke Cuccia '20
What I have learned from this at-home learning experience is that you do not realize how much you love something until you have lost it. I learned that I love being able to be with all of my fellow seniors every day and how much all of you mean to me. Being able to spend five years with you all has been a blessing to me, and I cannot wait to see all of you again. Even though we may not be sitting in a classroom with each other again, in the cafeteria during lunch, or in a homeroom, please have hope that we will still get to see each other again, and at this point, that means everything to me. We need to think positively in order to successfully get through this trying time. Instead of thinking about all of the negatives you can possibly think about, think about the fact that this experience will make us stronger in our bond and love for each other. I love you all, and I cannot wait to see my sisters! Please stay home and away from those quarantine snacks!
With much love,

I am so thankful for these past five years at Cabrini High School. I’ve met many lifelong friends and teachers who really care about you and your education. I’ve grown so much at Cabrini, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. l am so grateful to have spent my high school journey with my Doves of 2020. Thank you to the Class of 2020 and Cabrini High School for giving me the best high school experience ever!

To my 2020 Dove Sisters,
As a five year Cabrini student, I have definitely been taught several lessons and have become the person that I am because of my choice to attend Cabrini High School. Cabrini truly does educate the whole child, as the school mission says. They have given me many opportunities to be more outgoing and to chase after my dreams. I have become more confident in the way that I speak, as well in myself. Without the help of my peers, counselors, and teachers, I do not believe my experience would have been the same. Each year, I joined more clubs and extra-curricular activities to be more involved in my school and to set a reputation at Cabrini that no one would ever forget. I want to send a special thanks to my teachers and counselors, for always noticing my potential and my worth. Thank you for challenging me in the ways that you did. The friends that I have made and bonds that I have created at Cabrini have truly impacted my life and will always be remembered.
I have participated in several clubs and activities at Cabrini. I was in Student Council, Archery, Kickball, NHS, Mu Alpha Theta, Yoga Club, Ambassadors, No Place for Hate, Photography, Renaissance, Campus Ministry, Medical Professions, and Knitting. I was also a Eucharistic Minister. For sports, throughout my time at Cabrini, I have participated in Track & Field, Softball, and served as a Volleyball Manager. Also, I was selected each year to be a tour guide for Open House. Pretty busy person, right ? With joining all of these activities, Cabrini became more of a home to me. It will always be home, no matter where I am.
To all 92 of my Dove sisters, always remember that Mother Cabrini is always on your side and even in such a trying time, there are always people here to support you. Don’t forget to get some fresh air, spend time with family, and stay healthy and safe. Cabrini High School, you will always have a place in my heart. I miss you guys, and trust me, we will not be forgotten.
Sincerely,
Cydney St. Junior ‘20

Cabrini High School has been my second home for the past five years. At the beginning, I was having a hard time adjusting to high school. With the help of teachers and counselors, Cabrini became my happy place. I have met the most amazing, beautiful and talented girls. All 92 of my classmates I consider my best friend and sister. They taught me the importance of friendship. I am forever thankful for being a part of the Cabrini sisterhood. Hopefully we can see each other again soon I miss you all so much. Stay safe!
Much Love,

A Cabrini memory I will never forget is the euphoria of winning Intramurals our senior year. I felt so accomplished because we worked together as a class, and we achieved our goal. I was so proud to call the 92 other girls my fellow sisters. Cabrini gave me a great high school experience, but most importantly it showed me that I will always have a home to come back to and friends for a lifetime.

Going to Cabrini was the best decision I have ever made. I was not just accepted to a high school, I was welcomed into a family that supports me and will always be there for me. The memories and friendships that I have made at Cabrini will always be so special to me and never fail to make me smile.
Thank you to my teachers for always being there for me and taking the time to get to know me personally, which I know is very rare in high schools around the country. Thank you to my senior sisters for being you! I think we are one of the best and now closest classes to ever leave Cabrini! It took us awhile to get here, but I feel like we have all really grown together these past two years and have realized what it really means to be Cabrini sisters. Even if we are not very close, I can honestly say that I have a many memories of each one of you that I think of when I see you. I cannot wait to see y’all whether it be in senior hall cleaning out our lockers or on stage at graduation.
I love Cabrini with my whole heart and would make that same good decision over again in a heartbeat.
Love,

After spending five years at Cabrini, I have truly learned what sisterhood means. At Cabrini, we are one big family, and I will forever be grateful for everyone I have met and made wonderful memories with throughout my high school journey. Being a dove along with my 92 classmates has brought me so much joy in my life and will be something I cherish forever.

When I walked into Cabrini High School on the first day of school in 8th grade, I didn’t realize I would be gaining 92 new sisters. My classmates have taught me the meaning of true friendship and sisterhood. I have made so many memories with my class that I would not trade for the world, such as senior retreat and Intramurals.
The Doves of 2020 are resilient, and I know we will make up for our lost time together.

Cabrini is a second home to me and has shown me what a sisterhood is. We are one big family, and I am thankful for everyone I have met and made memories with throughout my high school journey. Cabrini has provided me with memories that will last a lifetime.

Cabrini High School became a second home for me my past four years. I don’t think my experience at Cabrini would have been the same without my family, friends and teachers. Cabrini has a great sisterhood that continues even after high school that I will be a part of forever. I truly enjoyed and will never forget all the great times I had as a Cabrini Crescent with my fellow 92 Doves, and I will miss it so much. Stay safe!
Sincerely,

My first day at Cabrini High School was a day I will never forget. Walking into Cabrini my first day was very scary because I was entering a new world full of many new opportunities. When I walked into the cafeteria that first day, I remember feeling so nervous that I couldn’t breathe, but then I saw it. The Bible verse on the cafeteria wall, “I can do all thing through Christ who strengthens me.” -Philippians 4-13. When I saw this bible verse on the wall, I felt this calm rush come over me in the blink of an eye.
Not only has Cabrini given me the opportunity to meet the most amazing, gorgeous, brilliant, and sweetest girl’s in my life, but it has brought me closer to God. Before entering Cabrini I was never one to experience sistership but Cabrini has forever changed that. I am so glad that God has given me the opportunity to meet my 92 amazing classmates because without them I wouldn’t be the person I am today. With the help of God, I have been given 92 sisters that I never even knew I needed until I met them. God is the reason for everything. Each one of my classmates has been and will always be so special to me. My experience at Cabrini has shown me what the true meaning of love and sisterhood is really like. And, for that, I am eternally grateful!

As much as I’ve looked forward to this day, I’ve never really liked endings. I will miss my Class of 2020 Doves.

When I went to Cabrini’s Open House, I knew it was where I wanted to go to high school. I am so glad that I made that decision. Cabrini has such a comfortable atmosphere, which has helped my ability to thrive. I have grown so much through my four years at Cabrini, and have received the tools to be successful and achieve all of my dreams. The bonds I have made at Cabrini are long lasting ones that I am going to carry into my future.
With love,

Over the past five years, Cabrini High School has become a place where I feel loved, comfortable, and free to be myself. Cabrini has truly become a second home to me, and has molded me into an amazing young lady that I didn’t even know existed five years ago. I never actually realized how much comfort and support Cabrini has brought me until now. I will forever be thankful for Cabrini and the gifts it has given me. Besides an amazing education, Cabrini has gifted me 92 friends that have become sisters. I will cherish these life-long relationships with them forever. Cabrini has also gifted me a second family, the tools and understanding of the importance of keeping God first in your life, challenging yourself, appreciating yourself as well as recognizing your own gifts and self worth. I have grown immensely because of Cabrini. Words are not strong enough to describe how proud I am to be graduating from this amazing institution. Attending Cabrini High School will forever be one of my biggest blessings and accomplishments.
Never in a million years would I have pictured an ending like this. Although heartbroken, I am a strong believer in the idea that everything happens for a reason. I am sad that my time at Cabrini is ending, but I am beyond thankful that it happened. To my dove sisters of 2020, stay strong and keep the faith. I truly believe God has big plans for us and our futures. We are a unique, strong, and powerful class, so let’s remember that! Also remember that this too shall pass. I am so beyond proud of each and every one of us and our accomplishments. I am forever grateful that this has brought us closer as a class. Understand that after this, they will never be able to doubt our strength! I can’t wait for the day we can all reunite again with our sisters and Cabrini family.
Thank you, stay safe, and love you all!

As a legacy, Cabrini High School has run deep in my veins for as long as I can remember. I thought I knew everything there was to know about Cabrini, until I got to experience it myself. Cabrini High School is not just a place to learn; it has allowed me to do many things, such as make connections, learn to persevere, and most importantly make mistakes to learn from. The person that entered Cabrini five years ago is not the same person today. I am stronger, wiser, and determined to get out and make my own legacy in the world. I am truly thankful for what Cabrini has taught me for the past five years and the memories made will always hold a special place in my heart!

It seems like yesterday I was a little eighth grader who was trying to find herself at Cabrini. After five years, I can truly say I have found myself at Cabrini. Cabrini has helped me achieve my goals, inside and outside of the classroom. I have learned so much from my teachers and my fellow Doves! I am very excited to continue to grow my education, faith, and softball career and spread the Cabrini core values to all those I meet at Louisiana College.
I will miss my teachers and my fellow Doves so much and thank them for the amazing memories I have created throughout the last five years!

I can’t believe we graduated! I had so much fun being at Cabrini High School the past four years. I am very thankful for all the wonderful friends I’ve made because they have truly shaped me into who I am today. I will miss all 92 of you dearly, and I wish you all the happiness in the world! "Parting is such sweet sorrow, that I shall say goodnight til it be morrow!"
