Summer reading is an essential activity for improving reading and writing skills. Students are expected to read the books indicated below based on English course placement for 2022-2023. Students will be assessed throughout the school year in the form of various writing assignments. Written summaries on the assigned readings are recommended but not required, as they will not be counted as a grade.
These books may be downloaded to your iPad through the iBook store, purchased through MBS Direct on our website, or the hard copy book may be used. Students will need to be able to access these books throughout the school year.

The Math Department at Cabrini High School believes all students can achieve in math. In order to assist students in retaining material from their previous course, we require the completion of the Summer Math Packet before the first day of school in August.
The Summer Math Packet includes comprehensive, standard practice problems from the math course the student has just completed as well as relevant concepts and skills for their upcoming coursework. The work will be collected and graded, followed by an assessment on the problems found in the packet.
